The short version
  • Hyperia City release ends today, October 23. General retail, so your local store is your last window.
  • Bangkok is the one to watch. Disney Lorcana Challenge Bangkok 2026 starts October 30, the biggest competitive event in this stretch.
  • Four qualifiers land in three days. Osaka, the UK Inkbound Invitational, and the Hunny Alliance Cup all fall October 31 to November 1.
  • Rapunzel - Escaping the Tower dropped 24% this week. From $28.11 to $21.23, if you have been waiting.

Today is the last day of Hyperia City's release window. General retail, which means your local game store is still running it right now. If you have not been in yet, tonight is the deadline.

That door closes, and then the calendar gets busy fast.

Bangkok is the headline

Disney Lorcana Challenge Bangkok 2026 starts October 30. A Lorcana Challenge is a major competitive event, not a store-level qualifier. The players who show up are playing for something real, and the decks they bring tell you what the format actually looks like after Hyperia City.

You are not going to Bangkok. Most of us are not. But the results from events like this are what shape the next few weeks of deckbuilding, so it is worth knowing it is happening.

Keep that date in your head: October 30.

Then the qualifiers stack up

Three days later, four Championship qualifiers run almost simultaneously. That is not a typo.

The Through the Decades Collectibles CCQ kicks things off in Kentucky on October 24. That one is first and it is standalone.

Then October 31 brings two at once: the Osaka Wave-1 CCQ in Japan and the Inkbound Invitational Qualifier 1 in the UK, both using Hyperia City legal. November 1 adds two more: Osaka Wave-2 and the Hunny Alliance Cup Team Trio event, also in the UK.

A CCQ is a Championship Circuit Qualifier. Finishing well earns you a path toward the larger championship events later in the season. If you are playing competitive Lorcana and there is one near you, this stretch of dates is the most important one on the calendar right now.

The Osaka back-to-back on October 31 and November 1 is notable. Two waves at the same location means two separate shots for players who can make the trip. That is unusual and worth flagging if you are in Japan or planning to be.

What it means if you are not travelling

Bangkok and the qualifiers between them will surface the decks that have a real answer to the Hyperia City card pool. That matters for your local scene even if you never leave your city.

A Challenge at that level draws serious players testing serious decks. Whatever wins or places well is what your opponents at Friday Night Lorcana are going to be running in two or three weeks. Watch for coverage.

The price moves worth knowing

Three cards moved hard this week according to our own price feed.

Akood et Emuti went from $4.16 to $5.40, a 30% jump in seven days. Pocahontas - Following the Wind followed a similar line, up 26% from $2.21 to $2.79. Both are the kind of move that usually signals someone figured out a build. Whether that holds after Bangkok gives the format a shakeout is genuinely unclear. Speculation, but worth watching.

Rapunzel - Escaping the Tower moved the other direction. From $28.11 down to $21.23, a 24% drop. That is a meaningful correction on a card that was already expensive.

If you have been sitting on the fence about picking her up, the price right now is the lowest it has been in some time. Whether it keeps falling after Bangkok or bounces is anyone's guess, but the window exists today.

Bangkok starts October 30, and whatever wins there is what your opponents bring to Friday Night Lorcana in November.

What to do before Sunday

If you are in or near Kentucky, the Through the Decades CCQ is tomorrow, October 24. Look up the venue and check whether registration is still open. CCQs do fill. If you are in the UK, the Inkbound Invitational Qualifier 1 and the Hunny Alliance Cup Team Trio both land on October 31 and November 1 respectively.

Those dates are close enough to plan around right now. And if none of those are yours, check the official release and event calendar for anything near you before the Osaka and Bangkok results reshape what you should be playing.

Prices update daily. Price any list as you build it in the deck builder, which reads the same feed as this page, and every card above links to its own page in the card library.
