Somebody is offering you a Disney Lorcana card and something feels off. This page is the part of that question we can answer with certainty: whether the printing on offer exists at all. We hold every one of the 3,212 printings in the game and refresh their prices daily, so we can tell you what is impossible. What we cannot do is inspect the cardboard in your hand, and we will not pretend otherwise.
- Check the collector number against the rarity. Every rarity sits in a fixed number band per set. A card claiming a rarity outside its band cannot be genuine, whatever the art looks like.
- Check the printing exists. If that name was never printed at that rarity in that set, nothing else matters.
- Check the price is possible. A chase card at a tenth of market is the red flag most buyers actually meet.
- We cannot tell you a physical card is real. That takes hands and expertise. We can tell you when a card describes something that does not exist.
The number band test
Lorcana numbers its cards in order, and the premium rarities sit at the end, above the set proper. That gives you a test you can run in ten seconds with the card in front of you: read the collector number at the bottom, read the rarity symbol, and see whether they agree with the set. Counterfeiters copy artwork carefully. They copy collector numbers carelessly.

Read a row like this: in Attack of the Vine, an Enchanted card is numbered #226 to #243. If a seller shows you an "Enchanted" from that set numbered inside the set proper, the card is describing a printing that was never made.
The printing test
The band test catches the careless fakes. The precise version is simply whether that exact combination was ever printed, and every card page on this site lists every printing of that card with its set, its number, its rarity and its price today. Search the name in our card library, open the card, and match what you are holding against the list. If your combination is not on it, no further inspection is needed.
The price test
The most common way people meet a fake is not a forensic detail. It is a price that is too good, on a card expensive enough to be worth faking. These are the cards in Core with the most incentive behind them right now:

What we cannot tell you
Everything above is a fact about data. None of it is an inspection of your card. Print quality, the rosette pattern under magnification, the dark core between the paper layers, weight and edge feel are how people actually identify a well-made counterfeit, and that is hands-on expertise we are not going to fake in an article. If your card passes every check on this page and still feels wrong, trust that feeling and get it in front of somebody who handles a lot of cards: a local game store, or the community, who are very good at this.
We can prove a printing does not exist. We cannot prove that one does. Those are different questions, and only one of them can be answered from a database.
