189 of the 204 cards in the set proper cost under a dollar at their cheapest printing today. The cheaper half of the set, 102 cards, adds up to $5.50 all together. Most of what a deck actually wants from Wilds Unknown sits in that half, which is why buying singles beats opening packs for anyone building a specific list.
A playset is four copies, the most a deck may run of one card. Pricing a playset means multiplying the cheapest printing by four. Even at four copies each, every card in the cheaper half of the set costs less than the set's dearest printing does on its own.
