It runs at your local game store, which means the barrier to entry is low and the prize support is set-level. If you haven't checked whether your store is running one, do that before you read another word of this.
Three other events are also in their final day today. The CCS $10,000 Lorcana Weekend is running in Raleigh, NC. The Malmo Game Week Lorcana Open #3 is in Malmo, Sweden. And the Pro-Play Summit Orlando is in Orlando, FL. All three are Championship qualifiers, meaning the stakes are higher and the fields are competitive. All three wrap September 27.
That's a lot of Lorcana happening on one Sunday.

The Rarehuntershop CCQ is in Austria on October 3. The Game Grid Open 2026 CCQ is in Utah, also October 3. Then The Cauldron Cup CCQ hits Illinois on October 10, and the Empire Games Seville CCQ lands in Seville, Spain on October 10 as well.
Two weekends, four qualifiers, two continents. If you're chasing a Championship slot, this is your stretch.
These are not the same animal as a local Set Championship. A Championship qualifier draws a sharper field and the top finishes carry real implications for whether you're playing at a Championship event later. Show up knowing what you're walking into.
Before all of that, on October 2, the Illumineer's Quest: The Great Hunny Rescue Celebration Event begins at local game stores. This is a celebration event, which means it's the kind of in-store experience designed to be accessible, not a grinder. If you've been wanting to bring a newer player, this is the weekend.
The price moves you need to know
Three cards had a significant week on our price feed, and if you're buying or selling right now, these numbers matter.
Mickey Mouse - Bob Cratchit went from $1.77 to $3.77, a gain of 113% in seven days. That is not a misprint. It more than doubled.
Cinderella - Dream Come True moved from $14.27 to $21.21, up 49%. And Max Goof - Chart Topper climbed from $9.01 to $12.98, up 44%.
All three of these moves happened during Set Championship season. Whether that's the cause is speculation. But when a card more than doubles in a week, the question worth asking is whether the price has already run past where it settles.
A 113% jump in seven days tends to find a ceiling. If you needed Mickey Mouse - Bob Cratchit for a deck, you paid less last week. Whether this week's price holds is genuinely unclear.
Cinderella - Dream Come True and Max Goof - Chart Topper both moved meaningfully but less violently. Those feel like format signals rather than spikes. Worth watching rather than acting on immediately.
